I still have my WAR collectors edition box (looks and feels like a huge tome). Got about 250 hours out of the game in 08, was playing WoW at the same time, but i stopped playing WAR for 1 single reason: the lag. The lag was brutal, so WoW won because of that. Sometimes you would pull a mob and it would take maybe 30-60 seconds for it to register you and then it was a battle of patience to try and kill the mob before it killed you. But there was potential which is why i spent so much time with it (time that dwarves in comparison to what i spent in WoW). One of the coolest features in WAR was thaat you could recolor your armour to your liking, i WISH more games had that feature.

I thought DnD lore was vanilla as it came, but the total opposite is the truth. It's amazing and expansive in a way I can't really compare to anything. It's better, in my mind, than even the amazing depth of LotR, TES and Star Wars.

Wraith was my first introduction to the World of Darkness, believe it or not. Played it earlier this year with a friend and his buddies and it was a blast. Plenty of melodrama, high stakes, and really had me go to a dark place to play my character.

Because she mentions the Amulet of Saint June at some point, which is something very personal to Anezka and Christof, I think that's actually Anezka shapeshifting as Ecaterina. The "play cards to maneuver your piece and hope it doesn't intersect weirdly with obstacles" thing reminds me of Robo Rally (this is a very good thing).

You know thanks to watching a few WOD UA-camrs I got curious about how my home country of Australia fits into the various settings. It amuses me that it seems my home country is “winning” to an extent. The Dreamtime was never conquered by European fairies in changeling the dreaming, Vampires want nothing to do with Australia because of how intense the sun is and the Australian shadow lands are almost entirely cut off from the rest of the world thanks to it’s own personal tempest. That’s not even mentioning the fact that in a sense the country itself seems to have taken control of the shadows of the penal colony settlers.

I find it hilarious that there is a RPG system meant to play like Mordheim, when Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay exists and is still beloved by many to this day. I think it would be way more fitting of the setting and tone than like, a 5e reskin. I understand why it exists, because of sizable group of people who refuse to play anything that isn't 5e, but still.

10:00 Okay but that isn't too much of a defense, since Diablo 2 was able to do automatic health scaling of enemies in coop. In 2000, 11 years before this game. There is literally no reason to just not put a buff where lone player in single will do double damage, or something like that.

Oh, Dark Sauce is clearly made in Russia, since the voiceover is Russian. And they do call it D&D in Russia, though. Dev probably put it there to cast a wider net for their game. And, like, Dark Sauce is very much based on Corgi Engine, a pretty neat Unity platformer asset. Like I've recognized it from second one, they changed the UI art, but not layout - including the pause menu and the dialogues, it's like very much MoreMountains (the company behind Corgi Engine) style. Corgi is very modular and powerful though, and allows to do a lot more than this game showcases, but like with every Unity asset, it's not that you're using an asset, it's how you're using it. Rogue Legacy 2 is made with it, for example.

Werewolf - Heart of the Forest is one of my favourite games. I do also like the primarily story games Coteries and its follow-up, Shadows of New York. I haven't played Earthblood because the reviews were...eh.

I'm new to 40K but not warhammer fantasy, I'm assuming a space hulk is a ship, that went into the warp, or a warp storm, and either the navigator got lost, the reality field went down, unreal/immaterial daemons attacked, and the dead "hulk" rematerialized in realspace, somewhere.. sometime... and being tainted by the warp and chaos, must be destroyed FOR THE GOD EMPEROR! But that's just a guess albeit an educated guess from what I can tell from WH Fantasy, and Darktide and lots of lore videos on Slaneesh and Grandpa Nurgle.

I miss playing this game.

I played this on the PC (I think). Loved it. Have you tried Space Terror Fright (on Steam). It's not Space Hulk, but it is easy to pretend that it is.

The walls at 37:22 look just like the walls on levels 4-6 in Eye of the Beholder. I don't mean just gray stone, I mean the layout of the stones in the wall. I just might have to pick this one up for the Genesis. I'm nearly through the video and haven't really seen a lot of dinosaurs, despite being promised "filled with dinosaurs" in the title. Maybe I missed it.

"Isekai"? Geez, how old are you? Still, well done for beating this game. I love that you go beyond the game and explain more about these realms. I subscribed just from your video on Wake of the Ravager. From what little I understand, there are other realms besides Barovia and Har'Akir. I'm curious to know more about these other realms of horror. What more could there be? I certainly lack the imagination of the campaign creators. Even though the settings are works of fiction, I still like learning about these, the Sword Coast (where I've ventured in Neverwinder Nights and Eye of the Beholder), and Dark Sun (where I've never been). I've beat this game a few times trying to get optimal characters for Stone Prophet, a game I've never beat. Stone Prophet, unless you bring mages, there isn't a mage companion. I really hated the section in the graveyard and more, the wights beneath. I played this with a Cleric and Mage.

Ludmilla's Kinfolk. Any person with Garou Blood who isn't Garou is Kinfolk, which means they get to be immune to the Delirium. They are also prized among Garou because of that fact (and that they know about Garou culture and are aware of how bad things can turn out). So ...they did forget about the Delirium when a buncha rent-a-cops are fighting a 10 foot tall furry blender, but Ludmilla would be unaffected by the Delirium.
